The walls and ceilings we painted grey and the borders and skirting boards black. We also updated all the curtains, light fittings, power points, furniture, decor etc. Let me know your thoughts on the transformations.

Nice work on the redecorating! :D I especially love the lights and the display cabinet.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Bane! Your opinion means a lot! I'm not as good at the DIY as you are, and I don't have as much time to spend on the house. I'm quite happy with it but the house is always a work in progress.
ReplyDeleteI adore those Victorian red velvet chairs! The spouse is wanting a leather sofa, and up until now I've been turning up my nose at that suggestion, but those tufted leather ones you have are definitely making me reconsider. They're lovely!
ReplyDeleteI think your Enchanted Gothic Cottage is coming along very nicely! :o)
Thank you so much! It is a work in progress! Try finding some antiques / secondhand rather than buying new. I think they give a house character when they aren't new.
